    Honeywell rth230b thermostat
    I have 5 wires, white,yellow,red,green,and brown. I know that I match y to y, g to g, w to w, but where does the red and brown go?

    Are u replacing? What are terminals on old stat? What are terminals on new one? Sometimes they are not all used. If you have an Rh and Rc, they normally must be jumpered and connected to red.
