I have been married for a little over a year, and I have a son and a daughter only the daughter belongs to my husband. My sons father hasn't been in his life for 3 and a half years and my husband as been there since he was 2 years olds, my son will be 4 years old Monday, his father wasn't there for the birth, nor on the birth certificate my son actually even has a different last name then both me and the real father. His father moved back after years and now wants to see him what sold I do? I want my husband to adopt my son is it possible?

The only way your husband can adopt your son is if the legal father grants permission, because after the father gives up his rights, he'll no longer be able to do anything concerning the child.

If the bio father is wanting vistitatin, if he takes you to court, he will get court ordered visits, and with him wanting to be in the child's life, your husband will not be able to adopt, you will need the bio fathers OK for adooption.
