Trying to adopted going to court on the 3rd!
:) Im going to court and I was told that the father was going to give up his rights and ask the judge to hand over the child to us instead of his mother or the grandmother or his father (not the babies father but the fathers fathers) I was wondering if there was away that Im to talk to the judge and what is expected of myself and my husband. They told us the only thing that we needed was not to have a bad back round and that we can support this child. Is there anything else that is left out besides have a good and steady life style and a home that the child can have a safe environment as well as have good health standers. If u can help please help us to try to get this to go smooth as possible I have to have something good before tomorrow cause Im going to court this Wednesday at 2pm so please if anyone is out there who can help that I would really like thanks and if u want to know what I have so far please let me know and I will tell u put I will not post up the childes name or the fathers name or any name for that matter. Thanks again please help me fast!!

Don't you have an atty handling the adoption? They should be advising you. BOTH parents need to relinquish their rights to clear the way for your adoption.
