So I started hanging out with this guy and we were spending lots of time together(hanging out for 3 months before we kissed)... I introduced him to my grandma... and then we kissed. BTW grandma is a big deal. We went on a road trip a week after kissing and the kissing was great! Some of his friends came along... and I realized I was a secret... I didn't think he should tell them we started kissing but he should have told his friends we were dating or that he was interested but he didn't and then he tried to kiss me and I declined because I was not into kissing in front of his friends being "just the girl on the road trip" I didn't want them to think they could do it too. So after I made that mistake I ignored him for the rest of the trip(2 days) and decided to stick close to one of his friends... not kissing, cuddeling or hugging, just talking and ignoring the man I really liked. I was feeling horrible for my actions but could not make myself change my behavior. We came back and I explained myself... he said he forgave me and everything was going good... then all of the sudden he turned on me and decided he could not trust me? I am trying to be patient but sometimes he acts so distant... what can I do? Does he still like me or has he talked himself out of it?:confused:

It seems like you've been honest and forthright about your own feelings and that's a good thing. And frankly, I agree with you. There was no reason for him to keep you a big secret after 3 months and you were right to make him keep his hands off you in front of his friends, inasmuch as he hadn't made your relationship known to any of them. He has to realize that he can't have it both ways ; if he wants the benefits of the intimacy with you then he's got to be willing to take a stand regarding his commitment to you. I think you did the exact right thing. If he can't understand that then maybe it's time to find someone else to date.
