How do you change name on real estate deed in Indiana
What do you need to do to update the name on real estate property in Indiana after the original onwers have died. We do have a will stating the property belongs to us, but how do we request the name be changed to ours on the deed?

The executor of the will has to give you an Executor's Deed that transfers the property into your name. Then you have to have the deed recorded in the county clerk or county register's office.
