I'm 22 and have 2 kids but my period is nearly 2 week late I have had to negative pregnancy test but I have a few symptoms like going to the toilet a lot feeling very tired and increased appetite and I also haveperiod cramps could I be pregnant :confused:

It's possible... have you been trying to get pregnant? Or do you feel your birth control method failed?

A positive result at this time should be able to read on a HPT, but every woman builds up hormones differently. I would call your doctor and get a blood test to make sure.

Try and relax, stress can cause your period to be late or miss it altogether.

Wait for your next period. If that period is late, take another test. If its still negative, see your doctor. It could be that your hcg levels aren't built up enough to register on hpts yet, or you may not be pregnant. Its not uncommon to be late, or even completely miss a cycle now and then. These symptoms you have could easily be something else. Needing to go to the bathroom more could mean you are getting more fluid intakes then you realize, you might have a UTI, or perhaps you are just thinking about and therefore subconciously notice a need to go to the bathroom more often. Being tired, and an increased appetite and cramps are all common symptoms of pms as well. So give it time, then retest if you miss your next period, using first morning urine. Then see your doctor if negative and you still don't get your period. Good luck

I would wait a couple more days and if you still haven't had a period then see a doctor.
