    Toilet spacing
I have installed a deeper shower kit and had to bring the front wall out about 3 inches. This makes the wall closer to the side of the toilet.

I think there is a NPC spec on how much space there needs to be between the side wall and toilet bowl (8 inches) ? Do most local codes address this or is it purely a comfort functional issue?

Code requires a minimum of fifteen inches on both sides from the centerline of the toilet.
