    Ceiling fan
    I have a hampton bay ceiling fan that works by remote and I can only get the fan to move very slow, the lights work fine. Can I fix this?

    Try pressing and holding down the high speed button on the remote for about 6-8 seconds.

    It is most likely a bad capacitor in the remote control, and you will likely have to replace the remote receiver.
