    Starter solenoid corrosion
YEP, I too am having solenoid problems. But I'm hoping that I can simply clean off the corrosion on the terminals. Is this possible, practical, and if so how do I do this? Not sure what to use on it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    NH:confused:

You can use a wire brush. Also clean the area where the solenoid mounts to the frame of the mower.

Clean the connections on the solenoid with a brass or wire brush but also remove and clean both battery terminals. The battery terminals are more easily cleaned if you buy the special round brush but I'd wash the top of the battery withbaking soda and water too. Tell us what happens when you turn your key, any sounds at all?
