Using Voyager 2100 with Virgin Cable broadband
I have recently signed up to and had installed a Virgin cable broadband connection. My laptop is operting using vista ultimate and the cabe connection works fine when connected by ethernet to the laptop.

However, I have a BT voyager 2100 wireless router which I can connect to using the laptop but I cannot access the broadband connection using it.

The cable modem is linked to the router using an ethernet cabe and the connection is indicated on the router. The cable modem is linked to the internet. But although I can link wirelessly to the router, the router is unable to access the internet. I have disabled the adsl connection in the router and put in my cable username and password into the router.

Has anyone got any other ideas of what might work orif it is even possible.

How do you know the router doesn't get to the Internet? Can you connect the laptiop via ethernet cable to the router and see if it gets the net that way? Does the router pickup an UP from the modem?
