    Garnishemnt limits
My finace has three separate court orders in NY for child support. We live in Florida and they are taking $116.00 weekly from his paychecks. We have a child together that he is also trying to support, but are finding that after this garnishment, taxes, his health insurance, not to mention our rent, electricity and other bills, that we don't even have enough to eat. Is there a limit on how mych they can take considering he his the only one with income right now?

He needs to go back to the court and request a modification of his support orders.

Of course it would have been better if he hadn't fathered children he couldn't afford to support.
