Haunting from deceased family members.
Can family members spirits be in a house they had never been in? I think my grandfather is in my house(he passed away 12-11-04 and we purchased our house 10-13-2006). There is no history of prior hauntings or deaths. I have furniture that belonged to my grandparents and nothing had ever happened until May when we had moved this furniture in. Doors opening and closing, my dog barking ferociously at a doorway where no one was, footsteps on my back deck to my window and no one there. There is more to the story but this is a condensed version. I have motion dectors outside of my house and the windows are not seen from the doorway my dog was barking at. Can furniture be haunted? I don't have all my grandparents furniture in order yet, and I am thinking maybe that is not letting him rest.
Any help would be appreciated.!

It could be that they are haunting you. If they are, you have nothing to worry about. They are your grandparents and are probably just coming around to say hi cause they love you. Are you sure it isn't a person sneaking around the outside of your house? This could be what your dog is barking at. I would get some motion sensor light or something in case u have a stalker. I believe in ghosts, but you should make sure this isn't a person messing w/ u . If it is ghosts, don't be afraid of them, spirits can't hurt you.

I do not believe that the dead peoples souls come into this world to haunt.
It might be you have a ghost.
And yes Dogs and other animals are more sensitive to them and even might see them even if we do not.

Hi... Well the spirit which is your house it might be your grandfather spirit and if this is the case no need to worry about it... As he will never hurt you... but as per the incidents you have mentioned I do not think it's your grandfather spirit it's another spirit at your home maybe was living in the house before you come and the change you made in the house decoration is disturbing it... Try to get the house with the same old decoration and see if it will stop... another thing do a daily prayer in the house...

Hello just new here sarahs the name myself and fiancé have just moved out of our house 3 weeks ago where writing has appeared on our kitchen wall, footsteps in the middle of the night and water appearing from no where. So I understand your worry. I would recemend you go see a clairvoyant medium this helped me. Just today I got a call from a clairvoyant that I have been trying to get through to for the past 4 weeks and she told me that it was a small child and a woman in our home after saying that we would never return to the house. I hope my reply will be of help as your not alone in your struggle with the paranormal.
Hope to hear from you soon
Sarah

I have heard of ghosts 'moving' with families. Your grandfather could have moved with the furniture.

If it really is true what you're saying and your grandfather is there, I think that is pretty cool. I wish my Dad had time to hang around. He only came to me in a dream the day before fathers day. Then he had to go ride off with his dad and some other guy in an old pick up to look for some of his other old buddies from when he was younger. You probably think I'm being sarcastic but I'm serious. I wouldn't worry about it, in fact I would enjoy it.

Hello, may name is Robert and I'm new here, but I'm not new to working with Spirits. I feel that your passed loved ones are enjoying that you are enjoying the furniture or the memories that the furniture expresses. Try this, sit in, on or connect with the furniture, close your eyes and see him, visit with him. He only wants to say hello.
Let me know, Robert

Shygrneyzs,
My Dad was so handsome, he looked to be in his 30's or early 40's when I seen him in my dream (he was 76 when he died from brain cancer). I think he came to see me because he knew I needed to know he was OK to be able to let him go. All I could do was smile when he left 'cause I knew he was happy and that's all that matters. That visit form him (even if it was all in my head, although I think it was real) was the greatest gift anyone could have ever given me!
Why do you think your dad came to your brothers best friend instead of you or brother? Ya all don't like to bowl maybe? :D

Well if you were to ask me I think that if he was haunting you you should stand by his furniture and see if you can talk to him and just find out or to really be sure move all his furniture out for sometime and see what happens then move it back in and see what happens then like I have some of my grandparents stuff to but ik that they love me dearly so just try it

Dear z23 92,
To answer your question would be yes items your grandparents owned my well hold energy that your grandparent held close. There is nothing to fear, pray and speak to your grandparents and tell them that you have moved their furniture to a new place. And once you have completely moved in, the strange occurrences will subside. Seeking a clairvoyant and paranormal investigator would not be a bad idea either. A clairvoyant can speak to the spirits in question and ease to move. I have to do one of those today for another family in Saint Louis Missouri. Www.moparanormal.com
