    Guardianship of Mother
I have a sister that is a deaf-mute, and she is functionally illiterate, and she is often

Approached and asked to sign papers that could get her in financial situations that are not

To her benefit. I had suggested to my niece, her daughter, to seek full Guardianship over

Her mother. My sister and my niece they love each immeasurably, unlike any love anyone

Else would have. Please advise me on what needs to be done. They reside in the

Metropolitan area of Washington, DC... which includes Maryland, and Virginia.

Please answer as soon as possible, time is of the essence. The snakes are moving in on her.

Thank You for your expected assistance,

    Hello Usa:

Your niece is going to need a lawyer. Your sister MAY not be functional, but she's an adult with all the rights any adults has. If your sister goes along, it could be relatively easy. If she doesn't, it won't be.
