    Gas furnace thermostat
I've got a gas log fire place that can only be on or off, but I would really like to connect a thermostat to it so that it can control its self. Seems like I would just need to connect the thermostat so that it is wired into the on/off wires of the fire place, Right? I'm not sure what I would connect to on the thermostat, and am really just guessing at all this... Any help much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Robin

You could use a 110/120 line voltage thermostat. Read the instructions that come in the box with the thermostat for hook up.
