    I have managed to do all my other homework apart from this

    You need to find the next number in the sequence? Or you need to know what makes this sequence the way it is?

    What times 27 = 243? I took a WAG and figured it out. It has something in common with the first 2 numbers.

    Then next in sequence would be 2187.

    Em is right, the first 2 numbers should give you a pretty good hint.

    What times 3 is 27? Does that number times 27 give you 243?
