    Tattoo Cover Makeup
Ive got loads of tattoos and I would like to cover them up on my wedding day. I don't want laser surgery and have heard of a make up which covers tattoos. I have searched for Tattoo cover up makeup on the internet but do not know which one to buy and I don't know which ones work. Can anyone recommend a tattoo cover up make up kit and tell me where to get one.
    Cheers

I have personally never used these products, but I have acquaintances who have and they did not give these products a very good thumbs up. They said that it will lighten the tattoo, but not completely cover it up, especially if the tattoo contains black, blue or red.

The Joe Blasco is what I hear of being used most often : Joe Blasco Tattoo Cover: Correctors and Concealors / Skin / Straight Makeup / Products / Alcone Company

    Good luck!

My mom begged me to cover up all my tattoos for my wedding. Actually when I was trying on my wedding dress at the store she was saying how she hated the tattoos on my back, it was like almost on cue a sales associate walked by to look at my dress and was like "I love that tattoo on your back" haha!

But anyway... I didn't cover my tattoos because I got them for a reason, and they are a part of me... so I really don't know which ones work, but I do know that Davids Bridal sold the tattoo cover-up kit at their store. So that may become a normal item at bridal shops, so you could call around your area and see if any of them carry it.

Also, it is important that you get a concealer that matches your skin tone! You don't want to go for a dark cover makeup in hopes of completely covering the tatt but then it being much darker than your skin!

Check costume shops in your area, if there are any. Stage makeup will cover it for pictures and people standing at a reasonable distance. If it's good quality it also won't rub off on your dress (or on people hugging you!); in fact, it should require a bit of scrubbing to remove.

Mehron. They have a site. I'm in theatre and use it whenever I have a performance, it works wonderfully. Just make sure to dab it not rub it, then apply powder and dab some more powder more, until its covered.
