    With bankruptcy you can protect some assets. Foreclosure doesn't cost attorney fees.
    Otherwise it's a coin flip.

    There are companies out there that purchase homes in distress before they go into foreclosure which may help you avoid bankruptcy. Neither are good for you - they can damage your credit for years.
