I think I have gingivitis but I'm not sure
Im 13 years old. I have a teeth growing on top of another the next day I woke up My gums were swelling well at least the top part the back of my teeth I don't have bad breath but the gums the back of my teeth do bleed but not a lot. Is this just because I have a teeth growing on top of another and my teeth are trying to make room or is it a sign of gingivitis?

I think it's because of the teeth coming in. Try to wiggle the baby ones out and you'll probably find the gums start to look and feel better. Rinse with some warm salt water too.

If you're talking about molars coming in then it's a different story. If by saying "on top of each other" as in new teeth coming in then they'll bleed. Otherwise chances are you are having minor infections. That's not to say you one day will not have gigivitis. If your teeth are coming in crowded - like not enough room for them all - then you should see if you can have an orthodontist take a look. If you are lucky you'll be able to wear braces and fix the crowding. And the most important thing FLOSS YOUR TEETH. Be gentle. Do not bang the gums with the floss. Gently message the gums and remove any food. You can floss with a little bacterial killing mouth wash in your mouth. Draw the mouth wash in between the teeth with the floss 2 or 3 times for each tooth. Remember, do not hurt the gums while flossing.
