    Comparison salaries pilots
    Hi everyone,
    Is there any one who can tell me if the pilots employed in Cargo Airliners are paid more than Pilots in Passenger Airliners. If so , by what percentage, and how can I validate this?

    Thanks
    Ish

    I think you've got a few massive variables here;
    1. Experience - the more experienced you have, the more money a company will pay you
    2. Company - I doubt a budget airline will pay you as much as American Airlines!
    3. Location - Different country, different GDP, different salary for everyone!
    4. Route - Trans-Atlantic pilots will get paid more than domestic I would imagine!

    Google throws up some interesting results for "Airline pilot average salary" and "Cargo pilot average salary"

    Fedex Cargo Pilot - $180k ... Regular pilot $145k

    I think you could look into the rest!

    Good question though!
