    Hair dye went wrong
Hi, okay so about 2 weeks ago, I wanted to dye my hair a medium blonde color. I had medium brown, with highlights when I started. I used a loreal hair dye kit, and my hair turned a carrot orange/red.. so I went back and got a different kit, that said it would dye ANY hair color blonde, even black. So I figured that would have to work right? Wrong, my hair turned so yellow like rainbow bright... a troll doll, it was awful. So I went back and got a black dye kit to cover this mess up, and say forget it. Now it has been 2 weeks, and the black is starting to lighten barely to a VERY dark brown. I am starting to get lighter brown type streaks through my hair... the streaks don't look bad, it actually looks like a lighter brown highlights. My question is how long should I wait to fix my hair? My scalp was/is fryed. It is actually peeling, like dandruff from all the dying I guess. My natural color is a dark medium brown, is there anyway to get the black to lighten to my natural color? I don't want to lighten it really light, just to my natural, some sort of shampoo or wash or rinse? Thanks for the help in advance. Tara

You should always wait at least three weeks in between dyes.
