    Electric Fireplace Fan
Hi, my Dimplex electric fireplace fan seems to be broken. When I flip the first switch, the lighted fire display still works. When I flip the second switch, the heater element below turns red and heat is generated but it does not blow out the bottom and there is no sound of the fan engaging. How do I repair the fan? Thank you!

Usually there is no repair for the fan except to replace the motor. Before you replace the motor make sure the motor is getting voltage. I am not sure if that model has a delay on the blower but if it does the delay could be bad causing the motor not to operste.
