Windows vista searching for a computer by IP address
I am wondering how this is accomplished in window vista.
I have spent a hour or two trying to find out how this is done. NO LUCK

Is this because vista want people to be in a workgroup and there is no need to find anything by IP address. I know IP addresses of my computer not all host name off the top of my head. This work in XP so not sure where it is in vista.

    Please let me know.

    Thanks

    Rich
