    Brittle hair !
    My hair is brittle on top only, could this be genetic because I saw my mother's hair is also like that. Also how do take good care of very long hair?

    Use a good conditioner and perhaps consider using a hair masque once a week?
    Also get your hair trimmed evry few weeks to get rid of any split ends.
