    Hampton Bay wall remote
The wall remote for my Hampton Bay fan shows power (red light indicator) but I am not getting any light and the fan goes in a slow speed. I put the slider on the wall remote to the off position and the fan stopped and then slid it back to the on position hoping it would reset but the fan goes slow and the wall remote does not work it only lights up. Any suggestions?

Did this ever work correctly or did you just install it? Does the fan have pullchains?
