    Friend that has lend me money
    My friend has lended me money, Igave him post dated checks. He never puts the check through and calls all the time about the money. Whwn I tell him to put the checks through , he stays I am not sure about the loan now. He also keeps threating to take me to court.

    Take him the cash and ask for the checks back.

    Your check is all you need to do to satisfy the loan. If you gave him a check and the money is in the bank, you are done. Giving him the cash may be a good way to get him to go away but either stop payment on the checks or get them back. Your friend seems to have an odd line of thinking.
