Hello everyone, I have a few questions my husband and I have been trying to have a baby for the past 2 months. This past June I had a m/c and things have been regular since then. My periods have been 28 - 31 days apart so far, which for me is normal.
I have been taking prenatal vitamins for the past week, my husband and I have been having intercourse almost everyday for the past week ( except one day). For the past week I have felt tired, sick but not throwing up, I have felt like I have to have 4 showers a day at least, and my body just feels like 30 pounds heavier to carry around. What is this from, the vitamins, too much sex, or did my husband score ?

Question number two is when will I feel better and what can I do to make myself feel better?

Well, I doubt it is from the vitamins or too much sex. If you are pregnant don't expect to feel better until around week 13 or later. All you can do at this point is wait until you miss a period and take a test. If you aren't pregnant it could be pms, and infection, or any other number of things. Just try to eat healthy, exercise, and get plenty of rest and fluids. Hopefully this is it for you!

I have to add that if you did get pregnant this week, you will not be experiencing these symptoms this early. If you are pregnant, the egg would most likely not have even implanted yet.

When will you feel better? Well, the answer lies in why you are actually feeling this way. One week is not sufficient time to begin experiencing pregnancy symptoms.

What can you do to make yourself feel better? Again, it really all depends on the underlying cause.

You will need to wait until your first missed period and then take a pregnancy test using first morning urine. If it comes out positive, great, make a prenatal appointment. If it comes out negative, time to visit the doctor and find out why.

Good for you taking prenatals. I am 43 (not pregnant no plans to be) and I take prenatals on a daily basis. They are good for you pregnant or not.

I second that(sorry automansgirl, had to spread the rep)all you can do is wait until you get that positive or negative test. Maybe you are just coming down with a bug. Who knows.

If you are trying to get pregnant, I would suggest not having sex every day. The reason is that a man releases less sperm every time he ejaculates so if you guys are constantly having intercourse his sperm counts are probably not what they should normally be, making it a little more difficult to get pregnant. I would recommend spacing it out 2 or three days in between and make sure you don't have sex 3 days before you are supposed to be ovulating:) This is what my doctor told me and it worked. I am now 9 weeks 2 days with my first. As far as how you are feeling, if you were pregnant I doubt you would be feeling anything so soon as like someone else said, the egg most likely hasn't even implanted yet..
