    Whirlpool washer not spinning
Similar to other posts that I've read here, my washer has and issue when entering the spin cycle. I've yet to do a continuity check on the lid switch, but I don't believe it to be the issue here for the following reason.

The washer completes the whole wash cycle, however when it enters the spin portion of the cycle, it sounds like the motor is slipping or something because the bin doesn't spin, but the motor is obviously spinning itself. However, when you fidget with the bin by jostling it about and/or lifting it and then closing the lid again, it will begin to spin and complete the cycle as normal.

It's a whirlpool model # LSR8444LQ1, Type III, SER CT4513663. Anything would be helpful before I resort to calling a repairman *shutters*

The coupler between the motor and the transmission is bad. 1 hour of time and less than $20.00
