    WeedEater Rider
I have a WeedEater rider, it was a hand-me-down and it works fine. However, the blades (there are two) are really dull, no, really dull . Anyway, I can't get the blades off, I propped it up in blocks and I can't get the leverage needed to get them off. Are these reversed threads? Should I be going opposite? Should I try and put it on it's side?should I just get a pipe for leverage and crank the hell out of it?

Please help, my grass needs cutting

well placing the unit on its side is probably a bad idea since the discharge chute is on the right side of the mower, and the carb is probably on the left side of the engine. If you do tilt any small engine, the carb needs to be on the upper side to keep oil from running into the carb. So no do not tilt.
the threads are standard threads. Righty tighty , lefty loosey. Take a small piece of 2 x 4 and wedge the block of wood between the deck body and the blade. Then if needed use a cheater bar. It will come loose or break, either way you have to get the blades off to sharpen them. This can be a very aggrevating chore. Take your time, and step back and take a break , then go back to it.

WeedEater Rider stalls after 3-4 minutes [ 1 Answers ]

I have a weedeater rider with a tech engine. I spent $165.00 to get it tuned up back in May 2006. I used it about 15 times this year. Roughly 40 hours on it. The reason why I spent $165 to get it fixed was it kept on stalling after I ran it for 3 to 4 minutes. Well it's happening again. The...
