    Collection agency filed suit
    Can a collection ageny file suit against you once you've set up payment plans? And can they tell you that they won't except a certain amount it has to be more?

    Unless you entered into a written agreement that they would suspend filing suit, there is nothing to stop them. And yes, they can decide how much or how little payment to accept.
