    New AG Pool Liner
We are installing a new liner in our 24' above ground pool, we are wondering about using the bottom of the old liner as a pad for the new one. Any advice on this? Good ? Bad ?

    Thanks

Not such a good idea. Remove the old liner completely and broom the sand base smooth. Check for any roots or debris that may be working its way up through the sand. When you install the new liner get about 6 buddies to help you. Drape the liner over the walls and allow the center of the liner to just touch the sand. Add about 10 gallons of water to anchor the liner and check to insure you are centered. You can still slide it back and forth at this point. Once you are centered have your buddies pull the liner over the edge and down towards the ground. Start filling and every once in a while allow a little more liner to pull into the pool.
