    Is it just me, or.
... is this a rather unfortunate title for an article?

"Lawyer says Senate should not probe Craig"

Yeah, I saw that. It was in the same article about him not getting probed. I think it was MSN.com, if I remember right.

Almost as bad as the worst pickup line ever told in a gay bar:

"Can I push in your stool?"

I hear that Craig got reamed by the Republican leadership, though, for being so stupid.

Anyway ;Craig is taking the bad advice of Sen. Arlen Spector . My position is that regardless of the legality his going out of his way to visit Brokeback bathroom was conduct unbecoming a Senator .

"The guy was arrested for lewd behavior in the men's room, and I'm thinking, 'Well, hell. I'm lucky if I can get a hand dryer to blow'" --David Letterman*\

Slate Magazine published a detailed FAQ about bathroom sex. It reads like a parody ;but it is not. A roundup of questions about U.S. senators and sex in public bathrooms. - By Christopher Beam - Slate Magazine

"Lawyer says Senate should not probe Craig"

Why not? By the reports, I think he would like it.

    Hello Dennis:

    Snicker, snicker...

We have a congressman here named Norm D I c k s. He had an opponent a few years back by the name of Beaver. I wish I had kept the headline when he won. Don't all sorts of delicious blurbs pop into your head?

That's priceless, lol. If your paper is like mine I bet they had no clue... although they posted this quote from Bill Maher:

"John McCain has called for him to step down, Mitt Romney has called for him to step down. And Mark Foley has just called him."
Leno had a field day over this...

"Craig announced yesterday he would voluntarily give up his seat. Isn't that how he got in trouble in the first place?" --Jay Leno

"He is claiming entrapment. He said the sign on the door said men, so he went in to get some, and then the cops grabbed him." --Jay Leno

"Boy, did you hear those audio tapes ... He said he put his right foot in, then he took his right foot out, then he put his left foot in and he shook it all about. He says he was doing the hokey-pokey." --Jay Leno

"Men, let this be a lesson to you, when you're at the airport, never let strangers handle your bags." --Jay Leno

"You had the cop on one side. You know who was in the stall on the other side? Former New Jersey Gov. Jim McGreevey. If he just tapped his foot the other way, this whole thing could've had a happy ending." --Jay Leno

"What is it with all these gay Republican sex scandals? ... Remember the old days when a politician would just put his hand in your pockets to get your money." --Jay Leno

"This whole thing has to be very frustrating for the Republican Party. All these gay sex scandals and they still can't get any support from Hollywood." --Jay Leno

Craig is going to try to get out of the charges he pled guilty to(what a fool!), and if he gets off, he will not resign the Senate.

I hope to heck he is around for a looooong time, a wakin' talkin' example of Republican sexual values hypocrisy that everyone can see. :D
