    Over colored ends
Hi there PrettyLady! You are so wonderful to do this! I colored yesterday over bleach and lowlights to a level 5rc light copper brown. It turned out way darker than I expected and my ends almost look black. I'm not sure what to do about the ends. Should I do the Dawn dishwashing liquid? The hair looks so shiny again so I don't want to chance any dulling.
    Thanks!

Chemically bleached or lightened hair can absorb darker hair dyes like a sponge, making your hair appear even darker. Artificial hair color gradually fades to a lighter color each time you shampoo your hair. You can try using dawn dish detergent to fade your hair color. Remember to use a deep conditioner afterward to restore moisture and shine to your hair. If the dish detergent method doesn't work, go to the beauty supply store and select your desired hair color and mix it with a 30-volume peroxide developer in equal parts. This should make the ends a couple of shades lighter.
