Why the sudden interest?
So I meet this girl online via Facebook 3ish weeks ago. I am just getting over a serious relationship, only looking for a bit of dating, and see where that goes.
We started chatting. I messaged her, she wrote back. She is very attractive but is clealry pretty clever as well, got a degree etc
So we flirt a bit, chat about similar stuff we like. I then say to her we have loads in common and we should go out on a date sometime. I don't compliment her on her attractiveness but say we have stuff in common etc She says yes straight away. Then began the flakiness!!
I suggest a date, she says she'd let me know, she then says she can't do it. I suggest another two options, she says she'd let me know. I am getting mildly annoyed by this stage. So I message and say one of two days and a specific place to meet. She doesn't answer.
I decide I can't be bothered anymore and leave it.
1 week after I last here from her, she writes to me, says sorry for not responding as she has been hectic, and is hectic this week, and asks if we can go out next week and for me to say when is best for me.
Why the sudden interest? I haven't responded yet, she messaged this morning. When should I respond?

When did you come out of your serious relationship? Everyone likes the chase, so you not being intouch has made her want to chase you! Play the game though, but not too much because no one like mind games! Women always want what they can't have... suppose we do too ha!

The relationship ended 6 months ago, but I made the mistake of staying in touch with her. We did stuff "as friends". It has only been totally finished for good for 1 mth.

I know what you mean though, its hard not to do stuff. Especially if your wanting reconciliation.. because your holding onto false hopes then 6 months down line your like... can't believe I even thought I had a chance of getting back with her! Or even if in your case you didn't want to get back it (which I guessing you did otherwise you prob won't of found this site) it still delays healing process an the relationship finish date!

Anyway getting side tracked there, I personally think this girl doesn't want to meet, I think she just likes you chasing her, but I could be wrong as its hard to tell what women are thinking! I'd say I wo busy next week at a family do or god some work on or whatever you can make up that you can't really drop for her... she if she still pursues you, if she really likes you or wants to meet she wouldn't give up that easy!

Facebook is the devil my man. It is impossible to see where this girls head is at through messages via Facebook. I had almost the same situation happen months ago, I was out of a long term relationship and met a girl I kind of knew on Facebook and we dated for a bit and then it went bad. I may be biased because of my own situation but I would not push this one, waiting a week to respond and this and that only riles you up and these girls lovehaving the interest. You left it alone and BANG she messages you, if you messaged her constantly she would not respond, That's the problem with Facebook, too many people use it as an ego boosting tool. PLUS, nobody looks as good in person as their profile pic suggests. People pose for that pic for hours to make sure it is perfect, so the product is always fake, like those big mac commercials, in the ad they are perfect and nothing falls out but in reality they are dloppy and slanted, that's my take:)
