    Maytag belt failure
Dryer belt has been replaced 2 times. What could cause repeated breaks? It appears the drive wheel off the motor (which runs fine) wears away the belt in one spot. Could this be tension problem? Drum turns easily by hand.

    How old is the dryer?

Are you sure you're not overloading the dryer?

Inspect the seal around the drum, make sure nothing is getting stuck in there, causing the drum to stick - also, check the rollers.

Check the rollers. Are they spinning freely? Check the tension pulley as well. Sounds like something is not moving freely
