This may have already been done but should be inspected:

    This Service Information Bulletin supersedes S.I. 13 07 84 (854).
It lists the production date (1/85) of vehicles with the modified idle control unit.
SUBJECT: POOR INITIAL DRIVEABILITY - "HOT ENGINE" WITH A/C ON
    MODELS: 325e
    VEHICLES PRODUCED PRIOR TO 1/85
Complaint: Poor initial driveability may occur on 2.7 liter engine equipped vehicles after restarting a "hot engine" (coolant temperature between 105 to 140 degrees F) at ambient temperatures above 68 degrees F with the air conditioning ON.
Correction: If any of these conditions occur, proceed as follows:
    1. Disconnect idle control unit plug.
    2. Unsnap plug cover.
    3. Remove brown/red wire from Pin #11
    4. Insulate wire connector and tape back against wiring harness.
    5. Reconnect idle control idle plug.

See if that helps and let us know.
