Could be either one or both.

While your cranking the engine, do you smell fuel? If you do, the odds of the problem being fuel pump or injector related is low.

Electrically more likely. Intermittent stalling can be cause by a failed ignition control module and/or ign coil.

If you can't test these yourself, you'll want to find a qualified shop. Ask about diag fees and warranties, before you hand over your keys.

Working through the tests, outlined in sections A and B below, should help you identify the problem:

. Odds are 90%+ that the problem is electrical-related, not fuel.
. Test all under-dash and under-hood fuses with a test light or multimeter. Here's how:

    . Check for codes.
. Answer the 3 basic diagnostic questions.
. Replace the Ignition Control Module and coil, because of the mileage on the car. Here's how:

. Run the K-Test on the ECM.

If the problem persists, consider replacing the distributor. Due to bearing wear and other factors, TDC, CYL, and CKP sensors can get damaged and cause a host of problems.
