    Withdrawal on effexor
After sending my last question about coming off effexor I have been reading up on the withdrawal symptons and to be honest its pretty scarey.I really need to come off effexor as I want to feel in control again of my life I'm just hoping the panic attacks don't come back as it was a living nightmare.I these tablets have helped me so much but after 7 years I forget what its like not being on them. Could anyone give me some advice or hope I'm so scared but no this has to be done.

How weird! I'm weaning myself off right now! I was on three 75mg caps a day, for 2 weeks I'll go to two caps a day, then when I go to 1 cap a day for 2 weeks, my doctor is going to put me on Prozac so any withdrawals I may have could possibly be curbed. After I stay on Prozac for a bit, I'll wean off that, too. I am afraid of the panic attacks, too. I seem to lose an entire day to trying to feel normal again!

That makes me feel better knowing the doctors can give me something to help with the withdrawels.its so hard to explain to people who haven't had panic attacks the terrible feeling it gives you. I'm going to see my doctor and hopefully he will help me.let me no how you get on good luck shaz
