    Ceiling fan
    Believe I hooked everything up right, light works but fan doesn't. Receiver and transmitter are inlined with each other. When I push fan on the remote I hear the moter a little bit but the fan won't turn on? I don't think I bought a lemon. I had a fan there before

    Am trying to find out what make and model ceiling fan I have, bought house 17 years ago ceiling fna with house(20)years old, unable to find any tags or id's on fan need to replace speed switch(5 wire) thanks ed

    Guy number one: check any and all switches on the fan body, check all connections, if it still doesn't work you probably did get a lemon.

    Guy number two: send me a picture I will identify it.
