    Clothes dryer outlet
Would like to know where in the National Electric Code book it says that a clothes dryer receptacle must have a piece of wood between the outlet and a below-grade masonary wall in a basement

Never heard of it. I would post on Electrical and Lighting, TKrussel is very good on code.
He should be able to help, don't know if he visits Appliances. Good Luck, Take Care
