3 outlets in row not working
    Hi:

I have three outlets in a row not working. The other outlets in the room (presumed wired separately) are working fine? How can I best resolve the issue?

Normally the receptacles are wired from one to another and start nearest the breaker panel, so what you want to do is remove the receptacle that does not work and closest to the breaker panel, check for loose or burnt wires (check with volt meter if you have one)
Next go to the receptacle that does work and closer to the breaker panel then check it for loose or burnt wires. The receptacle is the link to the next receptacle, the wiring jumps from one to another. Good luck, Mike

I would assume there is a tripped breaker, reset it if not

You need to check for power, a simple neon tester will work...

You should be able to test by removing cover,

Should not have to remove receptacle it to test

Like acetc said start at outlet nearest power panel.
