Stench from one of our bathrooms
We are in the process of relocating-have always owned a home, but are renting a mid to high end apartment in the interim. One of the bathrooms has a horrible smell--we cannot identify the source. I do not want to bring the maintenance people in without an idea of what to ask them for--the smell is getting stronger. No obvious leaks, toilet flushes and drains are normal

You may have a blocked vent pipe or even a bad wax seal on the toilet that allows sewer gas into the room. Don't be afraid of calling in the maintenance staff, it's their job. As a renter you are not responsible for this kind of repair.
