    Installing a S-Video plug into Laptop?
    I have two laptops 1.hp pavilion ze4900 2.compaq presario 2100
    With a s-video plug in the compaq but I want the s video plug in the hp laptop is this possible if so how?

    The s-video port is usually built in to the motherboard, and in that case, no it is not possible to remove it. The only way to check for sure would be to open it up and see if it's actually a piece of the motherboard. If it isn't, you probably still won't be able to get it into the HP, because it will most likely have the video hardware built in to the motherboard.

    You could try getting a PCMCIA video card. I don't know if anyone makes them, but it's worth a shot if you really want an svideo port on that laptop.
