    If you are and American citizen and married to a French girl can you get dual citizenship and how do you go about getting it?

    I was married to a Frenchman for many years and France accepts dual citizenship but the U.S. doesn't have dual citizenship. Although I know people who have it, they just use the appropriate passport coming and going
