Hi, my name is Krista. My boyfriends name is Josh. He says he loves me more then anything. But if he really does, then why does he forget everything I say to him and he always forgets to do things that he promises me he would do. He says he sorry and that it won't happen again but it keeps happining and it really bothers me. We have been datin for 10 months now. And after we had sex the first time we understood each other more but then that's when he started forgetting his promises. I don't know what's wrong but I wish someone could help me!

How long before you had sex? And how long has he been less attentive to your needs?

Look, I will be the first to admit that I have been with some girls just for sex or to do other things. But I have also been in relationships with girls because I was in love with them (or so I thought).

A lot of guys zone out when the GF's start talking. We don't do it to hurt you or because your boring but its just that sometimes we have different intrests. Also, we say things that we think will make you very happy and we do that because ultimatly that's our goal, to make you happy. HE may promise you something because he feels at the time that it will make you very happy and later on forget about it. I have done that more than once. It may be something as small as promising to get you flowers or promising to change, but whatever it may be he does not do it intentionaly.

My adivce is too calmly remind him of his forgotten promise and kindly tell him he should make it up to you some way.

Well some men they do promise/ offer you things just because they are after sex, once they get what they want then they do not fulfill their promises, others, may promise/ offer you things and forget about it because he got busy, it's not that important to him, he just promised/offered you to make you happy... In this case, you need to remind you man with whatever he promised you... You know him better than anyone... you did not mention if he fulfils his promises after he says he is sorry, or he just apologize and forgot about the whole thing?? If he does so then you have to reconsider going on in this relationship since he does not take you seriously.

After sex there is nothing left in that relationship. He used you to get what he wanted. Guys are idiots.And if he is ignoring you and giving you doubts already after 10 months he is not worth it! You deserve prince charming who will do anything to make you (his princess) happy! The girl shouldn't be chasing after the guys attention, the guy needs to do the chasing and at that finish line you're the reward. Try and see if this relationship is over or not.
