    Coolant Flush Honda Civic ex
I had my coolant flushed at a local shop near my house and this tech when refilling would rev my engine rpm's about 3k-4k while the vehicle is on the lift. He said that he was trying to get all the air out of the coolant system. He also took the fuse out, so the fan would not kick in and open up the thermostat. I use to work at a dealer and I never have seen anyone do this before. Anyone familiar with this? He filled it up before revving it but still after what he said was full should not have been running it like that. What should I do about the Gm who was not there?

2004 honda civic coolant pushing out [ 2 Answers ]

I have a 2004 Honda Civic that's driving me to drinking. It pushes coolant out of the radiator and into the overflow tank, even to the point of overflowing the overflow tank. It seems to do this even when it's not very hot, so temperature, although related, does not seem to be the main issue. ...
