Red Bumps on legs and nowhere else on body
This is not for me but my Fiancé has gotten red bumps that become very itchy and after a while turn into almost a sore... She has only been having them appear for the past month. The thing we do not think it is bugs or a rash because it is only on her legs. Nowhere ele on her body, the highest spot is right underneath her butt and they never itched they just became so sore that it sometimes hurt to sit down. If anyone has any suggestions or advice please let me know. Thanks

There are a number of things this could be. From my research, the first things to consider are insect bites. Since these bumps turn into open sores, it doesn't sound like they could be something as simple as razor burn. But, they could be hives, an allergic reaction, eczema, etc.

When you start looking at the possibilities which are more serious, skin disorders resulting from Lyme Disease can include something similar to what you are describing. Lupus also can present similar bumps and sores on the legs.

The bottom line is that you need to go see a Doctor for a proper diagnosis. If it were me, I would try a non-drowsy Antihistamine and an astringent on the bumps, like Witch Hazel, or Benadryl Gel to try and remove the itch. If things didn't improve after a few days, or if it got worse, I would immediately go see a Doctor.

*I am not a medical professional. This is my personal opinion.
