    Eviction by vote of roommates
My roommates and I have had disagreements about how to pay the rent. I moved in from New Jersey to Tennessee and before I got here they decided to not split the rent evenly. Now the landlord is letting them decide who they want out by vote. I wanted to know if they do vote me out does the landlord have the right to evict me based on a vote alone.

How are you listed on the lease? And like the previous poster asked, what does the lease state?

Eviction can be for non-payment of rent or for other lease violations. So for you to actually be evicted there would have to be some actual violation that the landlord could prove in court.
