You should never be an instrument in destroying a marriage. The Bible states that what God has joined together, let no man put asunder. You will be liable to God is you do so. Why not wait for the right time for you to find the right person for you. If you would just pray and ask God for help, I am sure he will help you. It is not His will for you to destroy your life and someone else's life so I am sure that He has the best plans for you. He may express his feelings for you but this may only just be fleeting. Don't believe anything that a married man tells you. If he can cheat on his wife, he can cheat on you too. You don't want to be in the same situation as his wife, would you? You move on, that's what you do. Why would it matter whether he has children? He's married for heaven's sake.

How could you trust your heart to a cheater? Esp one that has been "committed" to someone for ten years! Do you think that maybe at one point in their relationship, he told her he needed her in his life? Who's to say in ten years he will need you? Think about it.

If you have not been intimate with him yet, let him know that you will not be his mistress and that he will have to wait until the divorce is final. That way you will find out if he is serious about you.
If he reject that idea, then we all know that he is just bed-hopping until he is a free man.
In that case, can you be sure that he will not cheat on you once he has you where he wants you.
