    Airconditioning cycle
My question is. That my airconditioning runs for about 14 minutes and cuts off for only about 8 minutes. Is that a good cycle?

The length of the off cycle is due to the house insulation and type of windows, the faster the home heats up the shorter the off cycles, 8 minutes does not sound too bad.
