Ceiling fan switch keeps going out
Hello. I have read through the other questions hoping to find an answer; no luck. We have a harbor breeze fan and it is controlled by just a fan switch, not a remote fan switch (not the one it came with). We have had it for a little over a year and a few months ago the fan and light just stopped. We took it down, wiring was fine, opened up the switch plate in the wall. It too seemed to be fine but we replaced it anyway (the switch). Sure enough it started to work. Just yesterday it went out again. We have bought a switch but are concerned that it may be more then just the wall switch. All three speeds work great, light works, that is when its working. Why would it keep burning out the switches in the wall?? HELP!!

A different manufacturer for switch may help. Maybe check connections in switch box.
